Dakota Motocross

Dakota Motocross at the Stutsman County Fairgrounds in Jamestown, North Dakota is one of the state's primary motocross tracks. The fairgrounds setting gives the club supporting infrastructure that most standalone tracks in the region cannot match.

Three tracks run on the property: a competitive motocross track for experienced riders, a mini track for dirt bikes and bicycles that keeps younger kids on their own dirt, and an RC vehicle track. That mix genuinely fits the multi-interest family: the kid racing dirt bikes, the kid racing RC cars, and the parents doing both can all use the same property on the same trip.

Membership is priced for families. Individual memberships run $100 per year, family memberships $250, and premium memberships with camping are available for regulars making destination weekends of it. Non-member options cover occasional visits.

Jamestown sits on I-94 in central North Dakota, and that location matters in a state with very few dedicated motocross tracks. Dakota Motocross fills the central-state gap between Fargo and Bismarck, putting both metro rider bases within a manageable drive. Riders in Jamestown, Valley City, Carrington, and along the I-94 corridor have it as the home track, and riders from southern Manitoba and Saskatchewan cross the border for a U.S.-side place to ride and race.
