Profile

What riders find at NVRP MX Park.

NVRP MX Park is a desert riding complex on State Road 428 just north of Socorro, off I-25 at Exit 152 near Escondida Lake. The ten-acre core packs a 1.4-mile motocross track and an 8-mile grand prix loop that blends traditional moto elements with open off-road training terrain, and roughly 9,000 acres of BLM desert trails ride right from the property for bikes and quads alike. The price is old-school: $15 per rider when the track is prepped, $5 a day on unprepped dirt, and primitive overnight camping is free. The park runs year-round in the central New Mexico climate, with the one caveat that flash flooding occasionally scraps events, so call after heavy rain. Escondida Lake next door offers fishing and camping, and there is a paintball park directly across the street for the rest of the crew. For Socorro, Belen, and Los Lunas riders it is the local gate, and Albuquerque riders make the hour run south for the GP loop and the BLM singletrack. (505) 835-4722 or (505) 835-1184.
