Dixon MX in Portales, New Mexico has ceased operations and no longer hosts public practice or official races. For years it was a core competitive track in Eastern New Mexico and a host venue for the New Mexico Motocross Championship Series, but the gates are now closed.
In its day, Dixon MX hosted rounds of the New Mexico State Motocross Championship Series; the old-school natural-terrain track quietly faded off the state schedule and is no longer maintained for riding.
