Moriarty Motocross

Moriarty Motocross in Moriarty, New Mexico is the largest motocross compound in the state, with two full-size motocross layouts, an arenacross/supercross hybrid track, and a mini track for the youngest riders, all on one property.

That track variety is what sets Moriarty apart. Most New Mexico tracks run a single layout; here you can split a day between two different full-size courses, work technical sections on the arenacross/supercross hybrid, and keep the little ones on a mini track away from big-bike traffic. Dedicated supercross-style surfaces are uncommon at regional tracks outside major training compounds, so the hybrid is a real draw for riders working on race technique.

The race calendar carries AMA-style events plus The Moto Academy events, which gives local riders both points racing and structured rider development on home dirt.

The compound sits 28 miles east of Albuquerque off I-40, close enough that Albuquerque metro riders can treat Moriarty as an everyday practice track rather than a destination trip. Riders in Moriarty, Edgewood, Estancia, Tijeras, Mountainair, and along the I-40 and US-285 corridors are all within easy range. Santa Fe riders come south for the track variety, and riders from Roswell, Las Cruces, and south-central New Mexico head north for the racing.
