Trax North

Trax North sits on State Highway 6 about six miles north of Crosby, Minnesota, in the Cuyuna Lakes country two and a half hours north of the Twin Cities, and its logo says what it is: MX, SXS and ATV. The moto track is the main draw for dirt bikes, prepped for open practice days, and the park keeps a separate track for side-by-sides and quads so four-wheel traffic stays off the motocross layout. A one-way woods loop hosts the Border Battle XC hare scrambles, and The Moto Academy has brought its traveling motocross camp here for a two-day stop.

There are no standing hours. Open practice days are announced on the Trax North Facebook page, mostly on weekends through the riding season, at $30 per rider, and the crew posts track conditions and rain calls the same day; a two-inch storm once left the track and the road in, in their words, accessible only by hovercraft.
