Moto 108 MX

Moto 108 MX is a northern Minnesota motocross practice track on Bent Trout Lake Road in Barnum, between Moose Lake and Cloquet about 40 minutes south of Duluth, and it makes no apologies about who it is for. The track is designed for Pro, A and B racers. It is not a kids track: no C riders, no novices and no little bikes, so the faster riders who show up get a layout built and prepped for their pace without slower traffic on it.

It opens on posted days rather than a fixed schedule. Dates go up on the Moto 108 MX Facebook and Instagram pages a few days ahead, recently as weekend afternoons from noon to 5 PM at $40 per rider, and the crew works the red clay between sessions. Riders under 18 must bring a parent. Rider videos show a flowing outdoor layout cut through the birch and aspen, and the track carries a 98 percent recommendation from the riders who have reviewed it.
