BCMX Adventure Park (formerly Cambridge MX)

BCMX Adventure Park, the former Cambridge MX, sits on 349th Avenue NW outside Cambridge, Minnesota, 45 minutes north of the Twin Cities, and its own tagline is where sand becomes destiny. Two full-size motocross tracks split the property by bike size: the North Track for 85cc and up, with big quads on select weekends, and the South Track for the 50s and 65s, pit bikes and small quads. A bikes-only woods loop of single track hosts the hare scramble, with ATV and UTV access on the way. Every riding day starts with full track maintenance, and the AMA named BCMX its 2025 Organizer of the Year.

The park is open to the public on race weekends and posted practice days from April through October, with weekly practice announcements on Facebook and Instagram. A race weekend opens Friday for move-in, runs an organized practice Saturday from 9 to 3 at $40 for the first class and $20 for each additional class, and races Sunday from 8 AM warm-up laps in a two-moto format. Race entry runs $45 for the first two classes, $35 for the third and the fourth free at 70s Series rounds, with AMA membership required; gate is $15 per person with 3 and under free, and camping is $20 a night per vehicle with no hookups. NER Timing runs MyLaps transponder scoring at most events with $25 rentals. Everyone signs the annual online waiver, minors need a parent on site or an AMA annual release, and pit vehicles follow the District 23 rules: registered at sign-up, licensed drivers 18 and up, 10 mph.

The calendar is the draw. BCMX hosts the North Central Loretta Lynn Area Qualifier in May, the AMA District 23 Premier Event in August with bonus points and 100 percent payout in 250 A and Open A, a Mid Minnesota Pro Am round, a hare scramble, a quad MX double header and its own six-round BCMX 70s Series, where riders need five of six rounds for year-end awards handed out at a December banquet.
