West Kentucky Motocross in Cunningham, Kentucky has been running since 1989, making it one of the state's largest and longest-running motocross tracks. More than 35 years of racing at the same location means multiple generations of area riders have grown up on this dirt.

A track does not stay open from 1989 to now without doing the basics right. Decades of unbroken operation in one spot means the track-prep knowledge runs deep, the racing rhythm is settled, and the regional rider base keeps coming back season after season.

The reputation matches the longevity. Among western Kentucky riders, West Kentucky Motocross is a well-regarded fixture, the kind of standing a track only earns through consistent surface prep and putting the riding experience first over the long haul.

Location matters out here. Western Kentucky has very few dedicated motocross tracks, and West Kentucky Motocross in Carlisle County fills a real gap for the Jackson Purchase area and the corridor connecting southern Illinois and northwest Tennessee.

For riders in Carlisle County and western Kentucky (Cunningham, Bardwell, Wickliffe, Mayfield, Paducah, Murray, and the US-51 and US-62 corridors), this is the heritage home track. Southern Illinois riders cross the line from Cairo and Pulaski County, northwest Tennessee riders come up for the same racing, and even Nashville and Memphis riders make the drive for one of Kentucky's longest-running motocross programs.
