Nelson Valley MX

Nelson Valley MX is a motocross track near Science Hill in south central Kentucky, one of the newer builds in the region and shaped with help from professional track designers. The red and tan clay packs tight and ruts up when it is watered and tilled, feeding a layout loaded with big features: a double dragon's back, a giant triple, uphill triples, sweeping elevated turns, and long tabletops, all set in rolling Kentucky hills and farm fields. Public open practice runs Saturdays from 9 AM to 3 PM (plus the odd Wednesday evening in peak summer) at $30 per rider, bikes only. Race weekends switch to a Saturday practice, Sunday race format with online registration and transponder scoring through iRaceReady, and there is free dry camping with food trucks often on site.
