Acen's MX

Acen's MX is a grassroots outdoor motocross track on Pondview Lane in Almo, in Calloway County just north of Murray, and one of the busiest amateur racing hubs on the western Kentucky and middle Tennessee border. Managed by Cary Ahart, the natural-terrain layout runs soft western Kentucky dirt and sculpted clay corners through deep-banked berms, rhythm sections, high-traction tabletops, and open sweepers, recently overhauled to modernize the flow while keeping its natural character. The race calendar is the draw. Acen's is an official track on the TMXA (Tennessee Motocross Association) championship schedule, hosts rounds of the American Bluegrass Championship (ABC MX) series with multi-moto formats, custom trophies, and holiday-weekend fireworks, and anchors TriStar MX Championship rounds including the Halloween Mini Classic. Race weekends run structured brackets with Race Ready and MyLaps transponder timing, and an AMA membership is required for sanctioned events. Practice runs on Saturdays at $30 per rider, and dry overnight camping is welcome on multi-day race weekends. Bikes of every size share the program with pee-wee youth classes, vet divisions, and full quad racing classes. The property has two mapped entrances: 467 Pondview Lane is the primary, and some map systems route to 2315 Hopkins Road at the back of the property. For riders in Murray, Benton, Paducah, and across the lake in Paris, Tennessee, Acen's is the home race gate, with Valentine Valley MX fifteen minutes south making the area a genuine two-track weekend.
