M4MX Park

Newly built MX practice track in Walton, IN: natural elevation, a step-up, tabletops, berms, and a woods section. $30 practice (cash), pro training with Mark Fineis.

What riders find

M4MX Park is a newly constructed, active motocross practice facility in Walton, Indiana. It runs strictly as a practice track and training venue, so you will not find a competitive race points series here, just a fresh, well-designed course to put in laps and get better.

The new layout blends natural obstacles with built earthworks for a rhythmic flow that suits multiple rider levels: natural elevation changes, a dedicated step-up jump, multiple tabletops, rolling whoop and roller sections, and high-walled berms. For a change of pace from open moto, the track also weaves into a dedicated woods segment for cross-country-style practice. M4MX hosts vintage motocross events too, where the course gets modified or rerouted to comfortably fit bikes with lower suspension travel and low-hanging pipes.

Practice runs $30 for riders age 13 and up and $20 for youth 12 and under. There are usually no gate or spectator fees on standard open practice days, though special vintage or vendor events may add a small $5 gate. Everything is cash only. Full safety gear is mandatory before a bike gets past staging: helmet, boots, goggles, gloves, and long sleeves, no exceptions.

A heads-up on access: even though the address is on County Road 325 S, the actual parking entrance is on County Road 700 East, on the northeast side of the track. Space is tight, so management asks riders to leave the big commercial haulers, large luxury RV rigs, and oversized trailers at home. There is no overnight parking or camping for standard practice. The only exception is occasional dry, no-hookup overnight parking for riders enrolled in multi-day training schools.

M4MX is also a primary host site for top regional riding clinics, frequently featuring schools led by pro rider and 33-time Amateur National Champion Mark Fineis. Those schools generally run 10am to 3pm across a weekend and cost around $130 for a single day or $230 for both, with entry handled by email registration.
