What riders find
Hoosier Hilltoppers Motocross Club in Paris Crossing, Indiana has been promoting motocross racing since the early 1970s. The club itself was founded in 1945, which makes it one of the oldest motorcycle clubs in Indiana and one of the last club-run motocross tracks left in the state.
That history shows up at the gate. With 80-plus years of club life and 50-plus years of motocross racing, multiple generations of Hoosier riders have raced this property, and plenty of the family connections to the club go back decades.
The track is built on all natural-terrain dirt with man-made jumps worked into the existing topography. Clay-based soil over moderately hilly southern Indiana ground gives the lap real elevation variety, and the clay holds racing lines when it is prepped tacky, exactly what you want for race development.
Racing is AMA sanctioned, so riders chasing AMA points have a home club venue with a predictable race-day program.
Membership is capped at 50, with a minimum age of 18 to join. The cap is deliberate: it keeps the club small, the ride days uncrowded, and the community tight, an approach that has become rare as tracks chase commercial scale.
For riders in Jennings County and southern Indiana (Paris Crossing, North Vernon, Seymour, Columbus, Madison, Scottsburg, and the US-50 and US-31 corridors), Hoosier Hilltoppers is the heritage club option close to home. Louisville metro riders cross the state line north for the AMA racing. hoosierhilltoppersmx.com for membership inquiries.
