Tennessee Motocross.

Tennessee runs on Loretta Lynn's gravity. The Hurricane Mills ranch in Linden hosts the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship every August and the qualifier season pulls riders from across the Southeast through Tennessee tracks for months beforehand. Outside the big one, I-40 Motocross, Christiana MX, Hillside, Fast Farms. Tennessee dirt swings between river-bottom loam, mountain rocky soil up east, and Piedmont red clay in the central tier. Season runs March through November. The Cumberland Plateau and Smokies give east Tennessee a different riding character than the flatter tracks in the western half. AMA District 13 covers the bulk of points racing. The Loretta Lynn's regional qualifier weekends fill the spring calendar and out-of-state riders pad the gates significantly. The harescramble crossover is real here too; if you only ride moto, you're missing half what the state offers. Plan for August humidity that respects no rider's hydration plan.
