What riders find
The Jefferson Compound is a motocross and ATV park near Franklinton, Louisiana, in the Gulf South north of Lake Pontchartrain, owned by Justin Jefferson. It runs several riding areas at once: a technical, business style main motocross track for experienced riders, an arenacross track, a kids and pit bike practice area set at the back away from the fast dirt, and miles of wooded cross country trails, with practice split between big bikes, small bikes, and quads (the main track entrance is by the pole barn). On site there is lakeside camping with casual fishing, a full bathhouse with showers and restrooms, and a heavy equipment packed parking area with widened driveways for trucks and toy haulers. The Compound is a regular host of the Louisiana Cross Country (LACC) hare scramble series and community benefit rides.
