Sunshine MX Park is a locally owned public motocross track on LA-70 in Belle Rose, Louisiana, in Assumption Parish between Baton Rouge and Houma. Riders around the river parishes knew this property for years as the Hwy 70 track, later Z-Man's MX; in 2026 a new group of local riders took it over, rebuilt the layout and reopened it as Sunshine MX Park under a fresh name and no connection to the previous operators.
The track runs posted practice days, recently Saturdays from 9 AM to 3 PM at $40 per rider, with practices separated into groups so beginners and faster riders are not sharing the same session. Every rider signs a waiver at check-in, and the waiver link is pinned on the Facebook page so you can fill it out before you arrive and get through the gate faster. The track rules are posted there as well. Bring your own trash bags: there are no trash cans on site, and whatever comes in goes home with you.
