Platter Hill MX Park

Platter Hill MX Park was a scenic natural-terrain motocross facility in Winfield, in south-central Kansas. It has closed and is no longer open to riders.

When it ran, Platter Hill was known for real feature scale built into the natural south-central Kansas terrain: 45-foot, 60-foot, and 95-foot tabletops, bermed corners, supercross-length whoops, and doubles. That 95-foot tabletop and the full-length whoop sections made it a genuine big-feature training venue for the region, and the smaller tabletops gave developing riders a progression to work up through. Open practice ran on Sundays, drawing riders from Winfield, Arkansas City, Wellington, and the wider Wichita and Cowley County area.

The track is now closed, so riders in south-central Kansas looking for motocross will need to look elsewhere in the state.
