Inman Motocross

Inman Motocross, also known as Inman MX Track or Inman City Park, is a family-friendly, non-profit motocross facility in Inman, Kansas. It runs as an independent 501(c)(3), which means 100% of the money it takes in goes straight back into the property and rider events rather than into anyone's pocket. Regional riders rate it highly for a balanced layout that works for everyone from pro veterans to first-timers.

The riding surface is a natural loose-dirt composite with a bit of light hardpack, and it is refreshingly clean ground: no rocks, no steep drop-offs, and no water hazards to worry about. The layout runs dense sweeping clay berms, small rollers, technical rhythm sections, and a handful of bigger jump faces, so there is plenty to work on without anything that punishes a developing rider. The track also regularly hosts professional coaching clinics, including The MX Factory technique camps, to move intermediate and entry-level riders forward.

Day to day, Inman runs on an annual membership. A $100-per-year pass gets you a private gate combination or key, so members can let themselves in and ride on their own schedule, sunrise to sunset, weather permitting. The local Inman Police Department keeps an eye on the property to check for active memberships and keep out trespassers, so keep your credentials current. Both dirt bikes and quads or ATVs are welcome.

On race and prepped-practice weekends, Inman opens to the general public. It is a sanctioned partner track for the Kansas Motocross Championship Series (KMCS) and the AHRMA Heartland Regional tour. Weekend gate fees generally run $15 to $20 for Friday and Saturday and $10 for Sunday-only, and organized prepped practice is $30 per rider. Riders must wear full gear and sign the online waivers before competing. One house rule stands out for a rural Kansas track: pets are strictly banned from the property during all open riding and race events.

Inman sits in McPherson County in central Kansas, within easy reach of McPherson, Hutchinson, Newton, and the wider I-135 and US-50 corridor.
