NMA Texas State Championship Finale

Triple points decide the Texas state titles. The 2026 NMA Texas State Championship Final runs December 10 through 13 at Freestone County Raceway, where the points leaders are crowned NMA Texas State Champions. Gates open Thursday, December 10 at 6 PM, and the weekend wraps Sunday, December 13 at 5 PM. Everyone can race the finale, but you have to be in the points to be crowned, and riders need any 4 of the 7 rounds to be eligible for top-five awards and payout. 12 classes get paid top five overall, with long motos, real championship trophies, an awards banquet, and a payout for amateurs. Every round scores standard points, the North/South Shootout at Cycle Ranch pays double, and the Freestone finale pays triple. This is the return of a historic event: the Texas State Championship began in Texarkana, was bought by Freestone and ran there for 12 consecutive years from 2005 to 2013, at one time AMA sanctioned. Freestone put it on hold so Texas promoters could build the district series that now feeds this final. 2026 AMA RULE, CHEST AND BACK PROTECTION. This is an AMA-sanctioned race, and from January 1 2026 chest and back protection is mandatory for competitors. It can go under or over the jersey, but it has to cover the sternum, the anterior ribs, the posterior ribs and the spine from T1 to T12. Riders without proper protection are NOT permitted on track, so check your gear before you travel.
