Track 93

Track 93 sits in the rolling hills outside Rivesville, right on the I-79 corridor between Fairmont and Morgantown, and has grown from a pure motocross venue into North Central West Virginia's dual-discipline destination. No membership required: one $40 gate fee (spectators $5) covers riders of every skill level.

The main motocross track is the kind local riders brag about, well maintained and famously vet-friendly, working natural rolling terrain into technical-but-safe jumps and wide berms. Up top, a dedicated youth track and grass track circles give kids and first-timers a completely isolated place to learn. The headline expansion is the 6.7-mile cross country woods loop, real singletrack wound deep through the timber that turns hare-scramble training into an actual endurance simulation instead of a few token trail miles. On MX race days the moto tracks close for practice, but the woods loop stays open at a discounted rate.

Practice runs weekends, Saturday and Sunday with the occasional Wednesday, always weather permitting and always worth confirming against the track's Facebook page before you load up. Sign the waiver online ahead of time to speed up entry, and check in at the shed before you park.

One warning the owners want every visitor to hear: DO NOT trust GPS blindly. The track can only be reached via Morgan Ridge Road out of Rivesville. Map apps love to route trailers down Parker Run or Talbert Road; Talbert is impassable and the connector from Parker Run no longer exists. Set GPS to Rivesville first, then re-target Track 93 once you're in town, and take freshly paved Morgan Ridge Road slow, because it narrows fast before dropping onto the gravel track entrance.
