2 tracks: ~1.5-mi main + dedicated beginner. Natural elevation. Spring-fall season.

What riders find

NH Motocross Park went through a rebrand. The property used to be Jolly Rogers Motocross, a fixture of the New Hampshire amateur scene under that name for years before new ownership took over and refreshed the operation. The new branding is NHMX, the new operating philosophy reflects more current rider expectations, but the underlying property and core track layout have continued through the transition.

The main track is a roughly 1.5-mile layout built on a mixed loamy, sand, and clay soil profile. The mixed soil is the property's distinguishing feature. Most New Hampshire tracks run on a single soil type, and the variety at NHMX through a single moto gives the surface real character. Loam sections hold tacky lines through the day. Sand stretches develop deep ruts that test sand technique. Clay sections firm up through afternoon use. Natural elevation comes from the rolling Sullivan County hill country grade rather than bulldozed berms.

A dedicated beginner track for 50cc riders sits separately. The peewee separation is standard at any serious family-focused facility, and NHMX's commitment to it reflects the broader operating model.

The operating schedule is Thursdays 1pm to 7pm and Saturdays and Sundays 10am to 4pm, April through mid-November. Thursday afternoon access works for riders with flexible weekday schedules, and the weekend hours serve the family practice and racing crowd. Winter shutdown is standard across the New England motocross scene, and NHMX follows the rhythm.

Overnight parking on the property handles riders who arrive Friday for a Saturday morning session. The basic infrastructure is sufficient for short-stay weekend visits without forcing trips into Lempster town for lodging.

Lempster sits in Sullivan County, in the western part of New Hampshire near the Vermont border. The property is about 90 minutes north of Boston, an hour west of Concord, and roughly two hours from Burlington Vermont. The Connecticut River Valley corridor that runs along the New Hampshire-Vermont border pulls riders from western New Hampshire, southern Vermont, the Berkshires region of Massachusetts, and the upper Connecticut River Valley. (603) 558-9006 for the current calendar.
