Wicomico Motorsports Park

Wicomico Motorsports Park in Charlotte Hall is a family-owned, 300-acre southern Maryland motocross park built by riders for riders. The people making the calls on layout, dirt, and schedule actually ride, and the place shows it.

Three tracks split the property by skill: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Developing riders move up through real progression steps instead of getting thrown onto terrain over their heads, and the 300-acre footprint gives each track room to be its own experience.

On top of the moto tracks, 4-plus miles of trails open up woods riding on the same property. Riders can split a day between track and trails, which covers cross-country and hare-scramble training that pure track sessions cannot.

Camping comes with shade and electric hookups. The shade is not a small thing: southern Maryland summers bring full Atlantic humidity and sun, and a shaded pit is the difference between a great riding weekend and an endurance test. One practical note: the park is cash only, so hit the ATM before you drive down.

For riders in St. Mary's County and southern Maryland (Charlotte Hall, Mechanicsville, Hollywood, Leonardtown, Waldorf, La Plata, and the Route 5 and Route 234 corridors), Wicomico is the home track.
