Kenai Peninsula motocross facility supported by Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions. Alaska's accessible southern peninsula MX destination for local riders.
What riders find
Twin City Raceway in Kenai, Alaska is the Kenai Peninsula's racing facility, supported by the Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions.
The peninsula has very little dedicated motocross infrastructure, so Twin City is the practical home track for the entire peninsula riding community. Riders in Kenai, Soldotna, Sterling, Nikiski, Homer, Seward, Cooper Landing, and along the Sterling Highway and Kenai Spur Highway corridors are all within reach, and Anchorage riders make the trip south for peninsula race weekends.
The Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions keep the track going. Volunteer club support is how motocross survives in a region where a commercial track wouldn't pencil out, between Alaska's short season, harsh weather windows, and the logistics of operating this far from everything else.
The peninsula carries a solid year-round population plus heavy summer tourist traffic, so visiting riders from elsewhere in Alaska, and Lower 48 riders on destination trips, come through as well.
