Summer Moto Camp (Session 3)

Session 3 of the Waldo MX Summer Moto Camp runs July 13 to 17 in Waldo, 18 minutes from Gainesville. Five days of structured motocross coaching for riders ages 6 to 16, all skill levels, at $450 all-in with the last spots going fast. Campers split across three tracks by ability: beginners build confidence on the turns track, intermediate riders step up on the pit bike course, and advanced kids attack the fast, flowing 1.5-mile main motocross track. Coaches with real racing backgrounds work cornering, body position, jumping fundamentals, and mental confidence at a pace each rider can actually absorb. The day is built around the Florida heat. Drop-off opens at 7:00am and bikes are on cool, tacky morning dirt by 7:30. Two ride blocks bracket a mandatory shaded hydration break, then campers move to rotating off-bike workshops from Polaris of Gainesville covering bike maintenance, suspension basics, athlete nutrition, and video review of the morning's laps. Lunch is included every day, and a group debrief with a daily challenge leads into pick-up between 12:30 and 1:00pm, well ahead of the afternoon storms. Safety runs through everything: gear inspections before every ride block, first-aid certified staff on site all day, shaded rest areas, and electrolyte-stocked hydration stations. Every camper takes home a Waldo MX camp shirt, and the week closes with Friday trophies and rider recognition.
