Florida Motocross Series Round 9

Round 9 of the Florida Motocross Series runs at Waldo MX on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, a two day race weekend with Saturday practice and Sunday racing. Waldo MX sits on US Highway 301 about a mile north of Waldo, an easy run down from Jacksonville or across from I-75. Weekend running order: Friday gates 5 PM to 10 PM. Saturday gates 7 AM to 10 PM, with practice sign-up at 7 AM and practice 9 AM to 2 PM. Sunday gates open at 6:30 AM, sign-up at 7 AM, church service at 7:45 AM and the riders meeting at 8 AM, then practice follows the riders meeting with racing immediately after. Gate is $25 for Friday through Sunday, $20 for Saturday and Sunday, or $15 Sunday only. Under 5 not racing gets in free. Saturday practice is $35. Amateur race entry is $35 per class. The 250 A and 450 A classes are $50 and pay 100 percent back. Open A and B are also $50 with a minimum 100 percent payback, paid as cash to A riders and gift cards to B riders. Series membership is $25 and a full membership is required for overall series awards, or you can buy a weekend membership for $10. All 11 rounds count towards points and you need to run 9 of the 11 to be eligible for overall series awards. Every round carries a Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Race Gas award, one credit per rider per event, so make sure the series has your email address at sign-up. Full series information is at floridaseries.com.
