What to expect
Winter sand racing. Riley Ranch Motorsports Park in North Bend, Oregon hosts Round 5 of the 2026-2027 Oregon State Series on Saturday, January 23, 2027, the first of a two-day weekend with Round 6 on Sunday. The coastal sand drains fast, which is why the series heads to Riley Ranch in January.
The Oregon State Series runs twelve rounds across Albany Motorsports Park, Riley Ranch and Moto 541, and riders must ride nine races to qualify for series awards. Gate, sign-up and practice times had not been posted when this was written; check the Riley Ranch Motorsports Park Facebook page or call 541-918-1602. Riley Ranch is a Coos County park with a one-mile sand motocross track, hookup camping on site and direct access to the Oregon Dunes, so an Oregon OHV permit is required.
