Round 5 of the miniXcross Youth Racing Series lights up Metroplex Motocross Park on Saturday, August 1. Gates open at noon with registration at 1, practice at 2, and races to follow; Friday night is camping only (gates 5 to 10 PM, $15 dry camping, absolutely no riding Friday). The series is AMA sanctioned, so AMA membership and the 2026 annual release are required, and chest and back protection is now required for all riders. miniXcross riders must run at least 5 of the 8 series races to be eligible for overall awards, with a 10-point bonus for perfect attendance.
