What to expect
Vet friendly, first time ever. Doublin Gap Motocross in Newburg, Pennsylvania hosts its first Vet Fest on October 3 and 4, 2026, open to all vet riders, big bikes and two groups of women, no small bikes this time (the minis are back for the Halloween Spectacular on October 24 and 25). The track is prepped vet friendly for the weekend. Broc Schmelyun donated a $1,000 gift card raffled among riders in the 30 plus A, B and C classes, plus $100 per moto holeshot awards in 30 plus A. Fastlapsmx runs live timing, so transponders are required and rentals are available at the track.
Gates open Friday at 2 PM and 7 AM Saturday and Sunday, closing at 10 each night. Saturday practice runs 10 to 4 with registration from 8 AM; race registration opens Saturday at 4 PM and Sunday at 7 AM, chapel with Zac Camp is at 8:15 Sunday and the riders meeting at 9. The weekend gate is $20, classes $40 and practice $40. Camping is free, with RV sites (water and 50-amp electric) reserved at 717-571-5824. Special Vet Fest T-shirts are $20 at the concession stand, artwork by Defiance Lifestyle.
