What to expect
All classes back, in costume. Doublin Gap Motocross in Newburg, Pennsylvania runs its Halloween Weekend on October 24 and 25, 2026, the weekend the small bikes return after the vets-only Vet Fest earlier in the month. Saturday brings practice and some classes racing, Sunday is the main race day, and MAMA, PAMX and DG Series contingencies are on the line.
The Halloween extras are all free: hayrides, a haunted house, and hot dogs, cookies and a drink for everyone. Costume judging with several prizes is Saturday at 6:30 PM at the pavilion, trick or treat follows right after, food is served at the pavilion after trick or treat, and the hayrides and haunted house run after dark.
Gates open Friday at 2 PM, then 7 AM to 10 PM through the weekend. Saturday practice registration starts at 7 AM and practice runs 9 AM to 3 PM; registration for Saturday and Sunday races is 1 to 3 PM, and Saturday's race classes start right after practice. Sunday race registration is 7 to 9 AM, chapel service at 8:15, the riders meeting at 9 with the DG Series awards, and practice at 9:30 with racing immediately after. Tune to 95.9 FM at the track.
Every rider under 18 must have a parent with them at registration, no exceptions. If both parents are there, they can both sign the minor release at the track; if only one parent comes, that parent signs a waiver at the track and shows the rider's AMA Annual Minor Release card. Camping is free, and RV sites can be reserved at 717-571-5824.
