Thursday Night Practice: NMA Shootout Weekend Kickoff
Practice at Cycle Ranch Motocross Park · Floresville, TX
What to expect
Thursday Night Practice kicks off the Shootout weekend. Cycle Ranch Motocross Park in Floresville, Texas opens the track under the lights from 5 to 10 PM on Thursday, October 29, 2026, the night before Round 4 of the NMA Texas State Championship Series, the North/South Shootout, runs October 30 to November 1.
From 6 PM the track rotates little bikes and big bikes on the hour: little bikes get the first 20 minutes (6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00) and big bikes get the remaining 40 minutes of each hour (6:20, 7:20, 8:20 and 9:20), with the last big bike session ending at 10 PM. It is a good chance to get laps on the race track before Friday's organized practice. Racers can pre-register for the weekend through Trackside.
