Meridian OHV Park

Meridian OHV Park in Meridian, Mississippi is the only municipally-owned off-road park in the United States: a city-government-operated riding area rather than a state-managed BLM property, private club, or commercial track. That distinction is more than trivia. The city of Meridian's ongoing commitment is the reason the trail network stays maintained and the gates stay open season after season.

The park covers 800 acres of trail riding for dirt bikes, ATVs, and UTVs. It runs daily from 9am to dark, seven days a week, which makes it a realistic regular riding spot rather than a weekend-only trip.

Meridian, Marion, Quitman, Bonita, and the surrounding Lauderdale, Clarke, and Newton County area are all local. The park sits near the I-20 and I-59 interchange, so Jackson and Tuscaloosa riders make the trip, and Birmingham riders run west on I-20. The location genuinely serves both Mississippi and west-central Alabama riders.
