Kahuku Motocross Par...

Hawaii's largest MX facility, 450 acres North Shore Oahu w/ Pacific Ocean views. Managed by Hawaii Motorsports Association.

What riders find

Kahuku Motocross Park on the North Shore of Oahu in Haleiwa is the largest motocross facility in Hawaii: 450 acres managed by the Hawaii Motorsports Association, with a main motocross track, a dedicated peewee track, and a 7.4-mile perimeter trail system. Its role as Hawaii's primary motocross venue and its Pacific Ocean setting put it in a category by itself.

A 450-acre footprint would be substantial for any American track; in Hawaii, where land pressure and small island geography make large motorsports properties rare, it is enormous. The Hawaii Motorsports Association's club management is what keeps a property like this running in a region where a commercial track could not sustain itself at scale.

The main track is built into the natural North Shore terrain. The peewee track gives 50cc and 65cc kids an appropriately sized layout away from the full-size bikes, and the 7.4-mile perimeter trail gives dual-sport, enduro, and trail riders their own loop instead of shared time on the motocross circuits.

Then there is the setting. Pacific Ocean views from the back side of the property make Kahuku one of the most scenic motocross venues in the United States. Nearly every mainland track is landlocked; an ocean backdrop like this exists nowhere else in the U.S. directory.

Riding runs Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 8am to 6pm. The weekend-only structure fits the club model and gives the crew the weekdays to prep the surface, while the all-day hours leave families a real window for a full riding day. Pricing is $10 per day, or $5 per day with a $30 annual pass, some of the most accessible track pricing in the country, built to serve the local Oahu riding community rather than squeeze visitors.

The park sits about a half mile from Sunset Beach, so a mainland rider's moto trip folds straight into the North Shore surf and beach scene that defines the area. Schedule and Hawaii Motorsports Association membership info at ridehma.org.
