Hendrix MX Compound

Hendrix MX Compound is a family friendly motocross track on County Road 11 just north of Florence, Alabama, serving riders across the Shoals and northwest Alabama. The track is built around one idea: safe riding for all ages and skill levels, from kids on 50s to adults getting back on the bike, and the gate is open to four wheelers as well as dirt bikes. The operation runs on organized practice evenings and weekend race events rather than daily hours, with practice typically rolling around 4 PM and night racing lighting off at 6 on scheduled event days. Event entry stays grassroots at roughly $10 to $15 a person depending on the program. Beyond the racing, the compound leans into its community feel, with gatherings and local food trucks showing up for the bigger events.
