What to expect
Round 3 of the TMX Friday Night Young Gun Series, a youth series racing under the lights at Tulsa Motocross on Friday, September 18.
Gates open at 5 PM, practice starts at 7 PM and racing starts at 8 PM. The feature races are a pit bike race and the Mad Dog money race.
Make it a two day trip: the track can take early registration Friday night for Saturday's race, and dry camping is $10 per night.
Entry is $35 a class, STACYC classes are $20, and the gate is $10. The MadDog classes pay 100 percent back.
Class rules: every class needs a minimum of 3 riders to run, and all classes are subject to cancellation or change, so a suggested class depends on minimum entries. Every bike must carry minimum 5 inch numbers on all three number plates.
Spectators are welcome and it is a good one to watch.
Boujee Delights is on site for the Friday youth race night, serving from 6 PM until the races are over. Loaded teas, energy and soda drink mixology, fruit smoothies, shaved ice, Dole Whip, Dubai strawberries in a cup and dessert nachos, so nobody has to pack dinner.
