Opening Weekend: Winter MX Series Race #1

Winter series opener, trophies three deep. Round of the MX Cup Series at Woodland MX Park, part of the 2026-27 winter season. The MX Cup runs on Sundays, with the Modern Beginner, Vintage and Pit Bike Series on the Saturday of most weekends. Gate admission is $15 for ages 7 to 60, $10 for 60 and over, and free for 6 and under. Camping is $10. Race entry is $50 per class on top of the gate, and a 2026-27 track card is required at $10. Woodland is a CASH ONLY facility, so bring cash. Riders who complete either series are eligible for a high point award, and you can only miss two races per series to stay eligible. Series awards are handed out at the 2026-27 Awards Ceremony on March 27. Woodland has not posted gate or race start times for the season. Opening weekend of the 2026-27 season: Sunday, October 11 is Race #1 of the Winter MX Series, the day after Race #1 of the Vintage and Beginner series. Trophies go three deep for opening weekend, and every racer who finishes the minimum number of races in either series takes home a year-end cup. Gates open Friday afternoon, October 9, for opening-weekend campers. Anyone entering Friday or Saturday pays the combined Saturday and Sunday gate fee, refunded on the way out Saturday if you are not coming back Sunday, so bring cash. Raffle tickets for free Winter MX racing for a year sell at the front booth at the park entrance from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM Sunday, $5 each or 5 for $20, with the drawing at 1 PM; tickets are not transferable.
