What to expect
Full prep, 10 to 3. Windy Hill Motocross in Ellerbe, North Carolina opens for practice on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 10 AM to 3 PM with the sand track fully prepped, the first open day since early September. It is the new 2026 MotoCreations layout, soft sand that gets rough as the day goes on.
Practice is $30 on the main track and $10 on the PeeWee track (it was closed for a tune-up earlier in the month, so check the post), plus the $5 annual Windy Hill Sports Riders Club membership, cash only. Every rider signs the release; riders under 18 need a parent on site or the minor waiver and medical authorization from the website's Forms page. Weather can change the call, so check the Windy Hill Sports Instagram before you haul.
