Race Day

Racing at Whitetail MX on Sunday, August 30, closing out the August race weekend. The track runs its Sunday program under WNYMA. Race sign-ups open at 7 AM, the race meeting is at 8:15 AM, and racing follows straight after. Saturday is open practice from 9 AM to 2 PM, with bingo afterwards and live music from Model Citizen in the evening, so it is worth coming in for the full weekend. Gates open Friday 3 PM to 10 PM and Saturday 7:30 AM to 10 PM. Gate fee is $20 per person with non-riders under 8 free, and memberships and day passes are both available on the weekend. Camping is available and there is barn stored firewood on site at $20 a bucket. The kitchen is open Saturday and Sunday, and racing and announcements are simulcast on 87.9 FM. This is a round of the UpState Motocross and WNYMA dual district series, Round 16 of the 2026 calendar, and a Summer Championship Series round. USMX (UpState Motocross) and WNYMA (the Western New York Motocross Association, rider run since 1974) co-sanction one calendar, so a single Sunday counts in both. Both bikes and quads race the series. This one is a Summer Championship Series round. The series page now lists six of them and riders need to attend at least five to qualify for series awards. The printed 2026 schedule was drawn up before Silver Springs withdrew, so it still shows seven rounds and bills them as double points races. No AMA card is required. All current district cards are accepted, but you must have your 2026 card with you or buy a day pass at sign-up. Sign-up is at the track, there is no online pre-entry.
