What to expect
Open practice at Whitetail MX on Saturday, August 29, the first day of the August race weekend.
Practice runs 9 AM to 2 PM at $40 per rider, with sign-up at the pavilion. The kids track is open all day for mini bike and mini quad practice, so the smallest riders are not waiting on the main track's rotation. Bingo follows straight after practice, and Model Citizen plays live from 6 PM to 9 PM in the evening.
Gates open Friday 3 PM to 10 PM and Saturday 7:30 AM to 10 PM. Gate fee is $20 per person with non-riders under 8 free, and memberships and day passes are both available on the weekend. Camping is available and there is barn stored firewood on site at $20 a bucket.
The kitchen is open Saturday and Sunday, and racing and announcements are simulcast on 87.9 FM.
Details can change.
Dates, times, fees and schedules come from the track's own posts and fliers and can change with weather, track conditions and other circumstances.
