What to expect
Two series, one weekend, A class money. The Capitol Motocross Cup and the North Carolina Motocross Association (NCMX) series run a combined AMA-sanctioned race at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, Virginia on October 3 and 4, 2026, powered by MDMX. Saturday is practice with gates at 6:30 AM; Sunday is race day with gates at 6:30 and A class payouts on the line. Contingency comes from Honda, Yamaha, KTM, Triumph, GasGas, Husqvarna and Kawasaki, and there are after-race activities for the kids.
Entry fees, sign-up times and the class list were not on the flier; follow VMP-MX on Facebook or vmpmoto on Instagram for the schedule. The pro-level track sits on Boydton Plank Road south of Petersburg with full amenities.
