What to expect
Friday practice ahead of the 16th Annual Two Stroke Shootout at Sleepy Hollow Motocross Park in Fredricksburg, running 1 to 5:30 PM.
Practice is $40 per rider and unlike Saturday it is open to both two strokes and four strokes. If you are only practising Friday, hand your wristband back on the way out and you get $15 returned.
The facility is CASH ONLY. Gates open Thursday at 4 PM. Free dry camping runs Thursday through Sunday, though there are no bathhouses on site. Water for fill is available just inside the entrance on the right. Pit passes are $20 and you must be 16 or older to operate a pit vehicle: if it has a throttle, it counts as one. Transponders are in use and available to rent.
Gate fees depend on the day you arrive. Racers and spectators 12 and up pay $30 arriving Thursday, $25 Friday, or $20 Saturday or Sunday. Spectators 6 to 11 are $10 any day, and 5 and under are free.
Details can change.
Dates, times, fees and schedules come from the track's own posts and fliers and can change with weather, track conditions and other circumstances.
