What to expect
Last Thornwood round of the year, with a free 60-plus class. Round 22 of the UpState Motocross USMX and WNYMA series runs Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Thornwood Motocross in Williamstown, New York, and the track is adding a free 60-plus class for the day. Gates open at 7 AM, sign-ups run 7 to 9 (or Saturday 6 to 7:30 PM), the mandatory riders meeting is at 8:30 with practice immediately after and racing to follow. AMA membership is not needed and all district memberships are accepted.
Spectator fee is $15 per person for the weekend, free for non-racing kids 10 and under; USMX/WNYMA membership is $30 or a $10 day pass, cash only. Saturday brings open practice 10 to 3 and a Stacyc costume race at 5:30 PM and trunk-or-treat 6:30 to 8:30. All riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; a guardian standing in for a parent needs a notarized note authorizing them to sign waivers and register the child, and must stay on the premises. No exceptions.
