What to expect

Moto versus woods, bike day. Sunday, November 1, 2026 is the big-bike day of The Gobbler at Switchback MX, run hourly by class group: Vet A (100 percent payout), Vet B, Vet C, Woodsman and Open Extra at 9 (vet classes are 25 and up), Open D, Women, Open Pit Bike and Buddy at 10, Open A (200 percent payout) and Open B at 11, Open C at noon, Plus 25 through Plus 60 at 1, Schoolboy 1 and 2, Collegeboy, Supermini Open and 85 Open at 2, and 250 Allstar (100 percent payout), 250 B, 250 C, Bomber and E-Bike Open (14 and older) at 3. Saturday, October 31 covers quads, UTVs and the mini classes. The Gobbler is Switchback's moto-versus-woods race, one-hour races on a course that combines the MX, woods and indoor tracks at the Butler, Pennsylvania facility. Gate is $10 per person with gates open 7 AM to 9 PM; amateur classes are $40 for the first and $35 each additional, pro and payout classes $50. Parking is tightly controlled: every camper and motorhome must arrive by 9 PM Friday, October 30, goes to a designated area and stays until Sunday afternoon, with no campers admitted after Friday and the driveway to that area blocked all weekend. Spectators get their own lot, the upper lot is trucks and vans only, every vehicle is directed where to park and saving spots is not allowed.
