What to expect
Race 9 of the Switchback MX Supercross Series runs at Switchback MX in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday, January 16, 2027. This doubleheader weekend pays double points.
Saturday gates open at 8 AM and Stacyc and 50cc sign-ups open at the same time, with practice, heats and main events starting at 10 AM. Sign-ups for 65cc and up open at noon, with practice at 2 PM and races to follow. Gate is $10. Amateur classes are $40 for the first and $35 for each additional, and pro and payout classes are $50. Open A pays 200% with 6 or more riders and 100% with 5 or fewer, and the 250 All Star pays 100%.
