What to expect
A fall add-on. Sunset Ridge MX in Walnut, Illinois added a practice day on Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 9 AM to 3 PM. The main gate on 1100 E opens at 8 with sign-up at 8, and riding runs in sessions by size and skill: A/B big bikes, C big bikes, 85 and Supermini, Vet 40 and up, 50 Jr/Sr and 65s, with the 50cc PW, Wobblers and beginners on the 50 track.
Practice is $40 per rider with a $5 gate for spectators ages 5 and up, and no AMA or District 17 card is needed. Everyone completes the current online waiver, minors need a parent on site or a notarized guardian transfer, and pit vehicles need an adult driver and a season permit. Weather calls go out on the track line at (815) 379-9534 and on Facebook, so call before you haul.
