Sugar Maple MX Race Day

Race day at Sugar Maple. Sugar Maple MX in Hillpoint, Wisconsin races Sunday, September 27, 2026, after Friday camping and Saturday practice. Gates open at 6 AM, registration runs 6 AM to 8 AM, warm up practice is 7:30 to 8:30 AM, the mandatory riders meeting is at 8:45 AM and racing starts at 9 AM. Race order is handed out at the riders meeting. Entries are $40 per class, and if you race three classes the third is $20. An AMA card is required, and a District 16 card is needed for district points. You do not have to buy a district card if you do not have one, but if you do, it is good for 2027. AMA cards are sold online at americanmotorcyclist.com and district cards online only through MotorsportReg. Have your AMA card, district card and wristband at sign-up. Minors must have both parents present or an AMA annual minor release, with no exceptions. Every racer must wear a chest protector under the new AMA rule, and the track will enforce it. Breakfast concessions start at 6:30 AM with eggs, hash browns and sausage or mini pancakes, and concessions run all day. On race day there is no pit riding at all, foot traffic only, so the paramedics can focus on the track. Everything is cash only. The gate is $10 per person per day, and riders practicing on Saturday do not pay the Saturday gate. Camping is $20 per night per vehicle, with above ground fire pits only and no fires on the ground. No motorized pit riding of any kind: leave the throttled bicycles, Stacycs, hoverboards, pit bikes and side by sides at home. Pedal bikes are fine when no racing is going on. There is no riding in the woods, which are private property. Gates close at 10 PM.
