7th Annual Halloween Race

Night racing in costume. South of the Ozarks MX (SotoMotoX) in Branch, Arkansas runs its 7th Annual Halloween Race on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Gates open at 2 PM, practice is at 4 PM and racing starts at 6 PM, with a full MX and quad class lineup plus a pit bike race with a 50/50 payout. A classes pay out 50 percent, and every youth class gets awards for first through fifth. The Halloween side is the fun part: a costume contest with prizes for first through third in three age groups (0 to 10, 11 to 17 and adults 18 and up), pit-or-treating for the little monsters (bring some treats to hand out at your pit), and a prize for the best decorated pit. Race entry is $35 per class for the trophy classes and $40 per class for the A and quad classes, with 250 A and 450 A paying out 50 percent (one payout place per three entries). Youth trophy classes award first through fifth and adult trophy classes first through third. Gate entry is $10 per person, racers and spectators alike, with ages 4 and under free, and the gate is cash only. Everyone signs in and signs the release on the way in.
