What to expect
Open ride day at The Sandbox MX on Saturday, August 29, running 10 AM until dusk at $30 a rider for the whole day.
This is the second half of the weekend. Friday, August 28 is a ride day from 2 PM with a potluck and party that night, KC Rukus playing at 6 PM and fireworks at 10, so plenty of people camp over and ride both days.
Cash at the gate.
Both the main track and the kids track are open across the weekend, and all skill levels are welcome from beginner to pro. Camping is welcome, so you can make a weekend of it.
On site there is a power wash station, bathrooms, a pavilion and hang out area, a rec room with a pool table, and a refrigerator and kitchen area.
House rules: helmets are mandatory, one rider per bike, sign in before you ride, take a sight lap first, no bikes in or around the buildings or on the gravel road, and no glass bottles. Parking is limited so park tight, and there is some overflow parking next door.
