What to expect
Race for a Bigger Cause brings NMA sanctioned motocross to Lone Star MX in Belton on Sunday, August 2, the second half of the August 1 and 2 doubleheader weekend. A full amateur lineup runs from micro and 50cc up through 250, plus 30, 40, and 50 plus classes, women's and girls divisions, and a stack of fun and charity classes including Heroes for first responders and military, Moto Mom, Buddy Run, Tutu Race, and e-bikes.
Gates open Sunday at 6am and are cash only, with a $30 per person gate covering Saturday and Sunday. Saturday practice runs 9am to 1pm for $30. Dry camping is $15 per night. The 250 C class pays $150, $100, and $50 to the top three, with hole shot awards in select classes.
