What to expect
No District 16 card needed to race. Pine Ridge Raceway in Athelstane, Wisconsin closes out its Superior MX Series weekend with pro-am racing on Sunday, September 20, 2026, paying AMA District 16 points, and the track says riders without a District 16 card are welcome to enter anyway.
Race with the pros, gain experience, make memories: that is how the track bills it. KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas and Yamaha contingency is posted for Sunday only. Gates open Sunday at 6 AM, and there is no practice on Friday. The track has not posted sign-up, practice or first-moto times or entry fees for Sunday, so check the Pine Ridge Raceway Facebook page before you haul.
Saturday, September 19 is the Superior MX Series Championship finale with the year-end banquet and Vollwerth's cookout after racing, also on District 16 points. Gates open Friday 3 PM to 11 PM, Saturday 6 AM to 10 PM and Sunday at 6 AM. Northwoods Motorsports is on site vending all weekend. Park sensibly, no taping off spots, and no pit bikes in the pits.
