What to expect
Friday open practice at Turkey Creek MX ahead of Saturday's SCMX Summer Series round, running noon to 6 PM at $30 per rider. A perfect chance to learn the Edgefield track before race day, with gates already open Thursday evening for campers settling in for the weekend.
Heads up on the timing. The SCMX race weekend flier for this same weekend lists Friday gates opening at 4 PM, which does not line up with a noon practice start. Call Turkey Creek on (803) 637-6747 before you haul for a Friday session.
