Rumble at Oak Ridge

A motocross festival, 13 seasons deep. The Rumble at Oak Ridge takes over Oak Ridge MX in Garwin, Iowa on Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4, 2026: two-moto racing on the main track, the Reekers Modz holeshot challenge under the lights, pit bike straight rhythm on an all-new pit bike track, Stacyc and e-bike racing, a Field of Dreams hayride, a Stacyc giveaway and awards from FMF, 100 Percent, Black Diamond MX, Reekers Modz, Motosport, Bell and Vahna, including the Motosport Style King award of three sets of gear and the Reekers Mods Shocking Performance award for the rider who digs deepest. Every gate entry and race entry earns a $20 Motosport card. Friday is move-in from 2 to 10 PM. Saturday gates open at 7 with practice sign-up (AMA card required), practice runs 9 to 3 in eleven groups, race and straight rhythm sign-up is noon to 3 at the center registration building, then the evening rolls: hayride at 5, Stacyc racing at 5:30 in 12 and 16 inch classes, pit bike straight rhythm at 6:30, the Moto Mom pit bike race at 7:30, the e-bike class at 7:45 and the holeshot challenge at 8:30 PM in 250 and 450 classes, with limited spots and sign-up during Saturday practice. Sunday gates open at 7, riders meeting at 8, practice at 8:30, racing at 9:30 and the awards ceremony and photos at 4. Practice is $35 Saturday and race entry is $45 per class for two motos Sunday, with Open A and 250A paying 200 percent and the age classes 100 percent; the Warrior class is free for military and first responders with ID. Gate is $30 Friday, $20 Saturday and $15 Sunday per person with 3 and under free and no refunds, camping is $10 per rig, and pit vehicle passes are $10 for drivers 18 and up. NER handles pre-registration, live timing and scoring; a transponder is required on the main track and rentals are $25, with a $100 deposit on cash rentals. Pre-register on Trackside Pre-Reg. Chest protectors are required in every class. Route in on Hwy T47 to 280th Street.
